The Heitrans B.V fleet currently consists of 43 pulling and 59 pulled units. The trailers can be subdivided into various categories: trailers with an evaporator for the transportation of complete loads using a specific temperature, trailers with two evaporators for the transportation of both frozen and fresh goods and trailers with three evaporators for the transportation of, for example, fresh, frozen and fresh goods.Heitrans has a very modern and young fleet in which three lorry manufacturers are represented. We transport goods using Scania, Volvo and Daf models. The vehicles are exchanged after 3 or 4 years or after 500,000 km. The trailers are used 10 years on average but are given a new compressor after 10,000 working hours due to quality considerations. This way we can be certain that the products Heitrans transports will always arrive at the customer’s at the right temperature.
